A new range of materials aimed at supporting teachers of the Edexcel GCSE (9-1) in Business. This presentation is designed to cover the topic of working with suppliers. It considers the role and importance of stock, procurement and logistics in the operations of a business. It starts with an assessment of what is meant by stock and then examines the use of bar gate stock graphs and just-in-time (JIT) stock management. It then examines the importance of procurement and logistics to a business and the need for a firm to develop and maintain strong relationships with their suppliers. The pack contains a starter and plenary activities, class activities, knowledge questions, key word definitions and an examination style question, all complete with suggested answers.
