This activity is perfect for keeping your students engaged while they practice their knowledge of exponents. This complete exponents review will cover exponent laws and have students apply their knowledge to solving real world problems.

As indicated in the video below, students watch the video hook, then work on clues #1-5, to find the location of the bunker. This is great for sub plans, unit review or extension questions, all you have to do is show students the video or post it in your virtual classroom.

The video has two parts: The first part is the introduction to the problem. Pause the video when it tells you to “Start Clue #1”. Once students are done with the clues, you can play the second part of the video which concludes the story.

There are also connections to the basic rules of the periodic table connecting student learning to science. Depending on the level of your students, feel free to provide them with more hints for some of the challenging questions. Or have students work in mixed groupings.

Please feel free to let me know if there are any mistakes. There is an answer key in the PDF to help you. Good Luck Escaping!
