A collection of educational posters featuring 44 diverse mathematicians, each with a short biography and fun ‘Did you know?’ fact.

The posters are grouped into five areas of mathematics, each with a colour theme for easy recognition: Geometry, Algebra & Number Theory, Logic & Computing, Analysis & Calculus and Probability and Statistics.

Each poster includes:

  • A short biography highlighting achievements.
  • A “Did you know?” fact to spark curiosity.
  • A visual design that makes the mathematician recognisable and approachable.

This project highlights mathematicians who are:

  • Historic pioneers who shaped the subject.
  • Diverse role models who overcame barriers of gender, race, or circumstance.
  • Modern mathematicians, including women and public communicators, who show that maths is alive, exciting, and relevant today.

Why this matters: By celebrating diversity and inclusion in maths, we help every student see themselves reflected in the subject - and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers.
