Flowers and Plants Writing Borders

This pack includes 6 colourful writing frames and 6 black-and-white writing frames, all with a flowers and plants theme and suitable for EYFS and KS1.
A worked example, “I Love Flowers,” shows how a child might use one of the frames, helping children understand how to organise their ideas and write simple sentences.
The frames can be used in lots of different ways: children could write a short poem, make a list of flowers or plants, create an imaginative story, describe a garden or the school grounds, write about plants they grow at home, or find and record simple facts about plants.
The black-and-white versions can also be coloured in, making them useful for independent work, literacy areas, topic work, displays, homework or continuous provision.
