French Town Directions Game Differentiated

A fun speaking and listening team game where pupils give directions in French for their partner to follow to guess the destination on the map. The game focusses on direction vocabulary and the names of places.

The following resources are provided:
• Maps, differentiated x4
• Vocabulary sheets, differentiated x2
• Destination cards, differentiated x 2
• Rules of the game, differentiated x 2

Resources provided enable pupils with a range of ability levels to participate in the game.

This material can be used to teach the following National Curriculum languages attainment targets:
• To listen attentively to spoken language and show understanding by joining in and responding;
• To engage in conversations; ask and answer questions; express opinions and respond to those of others; seek clarification and help;
• To speak in sentences, using familiar vocabulary, phrases and basic language structures;
• To present ideas and information orally to a range of audiences.
