GCSE BUSINESS - MARKETING PROJECT (MEAL DEALS)

MARKETING PROJECT OUTLINE

Marketing lends itself well to students working on a project in a group. This is a fairly random one, but I once had a class who were obsessed with meal deals for some reason and asked if we could do our Marketing project on them. After some research into it, here it is.

Much of a meal deal is already set out for them, so to keep it interesting you really need to push them to think about exactly what they are including in it. For example, I had a group that went for the ‘premium’ segment, but wanted to include things like Quavers and chicken bites which didn’t make sense with the demographic of premium meal deal buyers. **There’s plenty in this project for them to think about believe it or not! **

It comes with a PDF brief to introduce meal deals and where the market is currently at. As well as some slides for you to run through with them which explains each task. There is no set template for their report - at the time I encouraged groups to present with what ever they felt comfortable with e.g. slides, report, A3 etc.
