Bring conditional probability practice to life with this ready-to-use GCSE Higher Maths around-the-room trail. Fifteen varied exam-style questions turn topic revision into an active, purposeful challenge that gets students solving, discussing and moving around the classroom.

A fresh way to practise maths
Ideal for pairs and small teams, the trail encourages students to explain their methods, compare answers and agree their next move. It combines focused topic practice with collaboration, helping you hear mathematical discussion and spot where support is needed. Use it for revision lessons, retrieval practice, consolidation, intervention or an engaging end-of-topic activity.

How it works
Display the 15 A4 posters around the room in any order. Students can start at any letter from A to O. They solve that poster’s question, record the letter and their answer, then find the next poster displaying that result in its MATCH ANSWER panel. Each matching answer belongs to a different question, creating one complete loop. After all 15 questions, students return to their starting poster. Pairs and teams can start at different points, so everyone can get going together.

What’s included

  • A matching branded front cover
  • 15 large-print A4 question posters labelled A-O, each with a matching-answer panel
  • 15 varied original GCSE Higher exam-style questions on conditional probability
  • An A4 teacher answer key with every correct answer, the next poster letter and the complete loop
  • An A4 student recording sheet with 15 boxes around the edge and connecting arrows
  • One organised, print-ready 18-page PDF

Quick to prepare and easy to reuse
Print the posters at actual size, give each student a recording sheet and provide separate paper for working. Students can tackle the trail independently, in pairs or in small teams. Keep the teacher key to hand for quick checking and feedback. The large question text and clear matching-answer panels make the posters easy to use around the classroom.

A practical, enjoyable way to build fluency, confidence and mathematical teamwork while keeping every student focused on the topic.
