This Halloween bundle contains:
1. An editable and informative 45-slide PowerPoint presentation on the history of Halloween, its traditions and customs. The PowerPoint illustrates how, over time, Samhain, All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day have merged to create the Halloween we know today. It ends with some questions to promote discussion. The PowerPoint contains hyperlinks to Greenwich Village Halloween Parade in New York City - the world's largest Halloween parade, a short link to a video of the history of Halloween suitable for young pupils and a more detailed, in-depth video more appropriate for older students.
2. A 50-question PowerPoint Halloween quiz. There are 3 multiple choice answers and can be administered in a variety of ways - to individuals or teams. An answer sheet is provided to record answers.
3. A puzzle pack containing a set of 14 differentiated word searches, anagrams, cryptograms and crosswords on the theme of Halloween.
These resources are ideal for use with tutor groups during Halloween.
