A lesson designed for KS3 students exploring the topic of food and drink with a focus on some traditional dishes from Spain, Peru and Mexico.

PACK CONTAINS:

* A PowerPoint file with a starter activity, introduction to the impersonal use of 'se' (se come), texts with associated reading and writing tasks and answers to the listening and reading worksheets. Includes screen shots of short authentic texts, one of which is used for a 'spot the cognates' activity.

* A listening task based on a video of people in Peru being interviewed about why they like their country's iconic Inca Kola. Focus on opinions and reasons for opinions.

* A reading comprehension task also on the topic of Inca Kola.

* Alphabetised vocabulary list to support less able students or those completely new to the topic of food and drink.
