
In this double lesson, learners are introduced to the idiographic and nomothetic approaches.
We start by discussing the different ways psychologists explain behaviour i.e looking at the what makes someone unique vs looking for patterns that apply to them, which leads into the idiographic vs nomothetic debate. Two application scenarios with questions, some mini whiteboard questions to check for knowledge gaps, AO2 exam style question practice, class debate, evaluation task, true or false questions, PEEL task and we finish with a game of BINGO and box plenary.
