This covers unit 1: Anatomy and Physiology: 4.2 Recovery. You get the students worksheet, teachers worksheet with answers and powerpoint. Students can use books such as Cambridge IGCSE PE as well to answer the questions. Plus there are independent studies in the worksheet. Plus exam questions at the end. Please note that you may need to alter the powerpoint as I do my lessons on a mac. (Apologise for any grammar or spelling mistakes in advance, if you find some, as I am dyslexic)
Differentiated Learning Objectives
• All: Describe why the body experiences oxygen debt and describe the physical effects on the body when there is an oxygen debt.
• Some: Able to write out the equation for the removal of lactic acid. Explain how LA is broken down in the presence of oxygen.
• Most: Explain the term oxygen debt in terms of the circulatory and respiratory systems and explain how the body can recover from EPOC.
