After the children were familiar with the features of information texts, I told them I had recently written my own and wanted them to get their teacher hats on and mark my work. This caused much excitement! Children were given the differentiated texts with missing features, as a group they marked my work and found things I had missed out, as well as things I had included. The groups gave me feedback, which highlighted to me their understanding of information text features. I have also attached a copy of the correct versions of the info texts with all features included.
