This is an investigation into the effect changing the concentration of hydrochloric acid has on its rate of reaction with magnesium. This is intended as a short project over several lessons to get students used to some of the factors needed in an investigation write-up. Includes student investigation sheet, mark scheme and grading information. The mark scheme is written with the students in mind, the intention is to give it to them with the student guide to encourage them to get maximum marks and or as a tool for peer-assessment.
