A lesson to teach, assess or consolidate colours for young children.
Start with sharing the poster - sheet 1 and discussing the colours shown.
Can children think of things that may be these colours?
The next 3 sheets each show two colours, so children can distinguish between these and locate objects that are in each colour e.g a red apple and a yellow crayon.
Colours used in the resource are red, green, yellow, blue, pink and orange.

Sheet 5 contains the objects seen in all the previous sheets.
Children can have a copy of this sheet and locate each of the objects as you share sheets 2,3 and 4.

Sheet 6 is a colouring sheet, children recall the colours of the various objects and then colour them in on the worksheet.
