Let's make Christmas Gift Tags

Get organised and creative this Christmas with this festive Christmas Gift Tag Making Resource, perfect for EYFS and KS1 children!
This resource includes 24 ready-coloured Christmas gift tags and 24 black-and-white versions for children to colour themselves, plus a blank gift tag template so they can design and decorate their own.
Children can choose their favourite designs, colour in the black-and-white versions using crayons, pencils or felt-tip pens, carefully cut them out and stick them onto card to make them stronger. They can then write a special Christmas message on the back, such as “To Mum, Happy Christmas, love from…”, before threading ribbon or string through the holes to create beautiful hanging gift tags ready to attach to Christmas presents.
This activity helps children develop fine motor skills, pencil control, scissor skills, creativity and early writing skills, while encouraging independence and a sense of achievement.
The blank templates also provide opportunities for children to express their own ideas and create personalised designs.
