Let's Write and Order the Alphabet

This 6-page alphabet resource is designed to help children develop early literacy and handwriting skills in a practical way.
The resource includes all 26 uppercase letters of the alphabet, presented as large, clear tracing letters on worksheets or individual flashcards.
Some of the letters on the worksheets are in alphabetical order and some are shuffled.
The pages can be used for a range of activities, including tracing, letter recognition, phonics practice, alphabetical ordering, reading and writing. Children can trace over, or within, each letter to practise correct formation, then cut out and rearrange the cards to put the alphabet in the correct order.
This resource supports children with recognising and naming letters, matching letters to their sounds, developing pencil control, improving letter formation, remembering alphabetical order, and building confidence with early reading and writing.
It makes a useful assessment tool.
The flashcards are ideal for EYFS, Reception and KS1 children.
For repeated use, the cards can also be laminated and traced with a wipe-clean pen.
