A sheet for students to name a selection of Map Symbols. Originally made for my Cub Scouts but could be used for a range of other settings including Duke of Edinburgh.
The sheet asks you to write the name that relates to a variety of Map Symbols.
This is a creation of all the great map symbols work here on TES, combined with my own creative ideas. The activities are very short and snappy (game based) which helps to keep the attention of the child. Has been used as an observation lesson (Good with Outstanding features) Enjoy :)

These differentiated worksheets allow for children to either read a scale (you will need to draw on the levels) or draw on measures. I am planning to give children some wrappers and labels so they can draw the weight on the scale. I hope these are useful!
