Memory Assist Cards

The Memory Assist Cards help children to develop independence within the classroom, as they provide a visual and written prompt, to a verbal instruction.
Children with Autism, short term memory challenges, or those who are easily distracted, can be given a verbal instruction, which is then matched on their set of Memory Assist Cards, that they then carry to remind them what they need to get.
This set comes with the I need to get my… blank cards and a selection of matching picture cards to choose from. There is a set of blue cards for items a child may need to get at school, and a set of green cards for items that a child may need to get at home - in order to provide consistency between school and home. There are also blank picture cards included, so you can use pictures or words that are specific to individual children.
