Typical microorganism growth curve with diagrams and students to fill in phases.
Finishes with enzymes and enzyme immobilisation techniques.
Artificial selection (modern cow and modern wheat)
Cloning in animals and plants (runners, root suckers (elm trees), bulbs, tubers, cuttings, grafting, tissue culture, finishing with reproductive and non-reproductive cloning of animals (nuclear transfer / embryo splitting)
I used this with some struggling students and they loved them. But great for all students for consolidation purposes.
