Ordering Decimals - Year 4

In this KS2 maths teaching resource pupils practise comparing and ordering decimals with up to two decimal places. It is an ideal teaching aid to use in a lesson covering some of the year 4 curriculum objectives in the maths programme of study (Fractions, including decimals). Content includes:

  • Ascending and descending order explanation
  • Name the decimal number represented by the place value chart and place in ascending order activity and worksheet
  • Name the decimal number represented by the place value chart and place in descending order activity and worksheet
  • Place the decimal numbers in ascending order activity and worksheet
  • Place the decimal numbers in descending order activity and worksheet
  • Compare the decimal numbers and place the correct < and > sign in the box provided activity and worksheet
  • Problem solving and reasoning activities with accompanying worksheet
