A set of 10 black-and-white worksheets - ideal for EYFS and KS1 children who are beginning to read and write simple phrases or sentences.
Linking Ourselves with early literacy and fine motor development
Each page features six everyday actions with the sentence starter “I can…” such as I can swim, I can wave and I can run.
Children read each sentence, trace over the words to develop handwriting and letter formation, then enjoy acting out the actions to reinforce understanding and build speaking and listening skills.
A blank template is also included, allowing children to draw six things they can do and write a sentence or phrase beneath each picture.
