Phonics Posters: S, A, T, P, I and N

A set of six black and white posters,linked to Letters and Sounds and each dedicated to one of the letters: S, A, T, P, I, and N. The posters show pictures related to the initial sounds like ‘S’ for Strawberry and ‘I’ for Ink. Below each letter, a blank space invites children to either jot down words or practice the letter’s formation.
Children can colour the posters, adding a personal touch and these can be used as a classroom frieze.
The posters can be duplicated for a range of games. Use them for matching, where children pair objects or pictures with the corresponding initial sound. Or children can use the letters to make simple words.
