Powerpoint version of the traditional story ‘La Petite Poule Rouge’. A familiar story, adapted from a web-based version of the text. I found it useful as a traditional story in its own right, but also as a starting point for introducing the names of some animals in French at KS1 and for making comparisons with the English version as a 'Language Detectives&' - style exercise with KS2 children. Kept narrative in past historic by choice as I didn&';t focus on the tenses for KS1/KS2 but it can obviously be adapted if you wish to do so.

I think this is a great resource. I am studying food with my S1 at the moment and, after reading "La chenille qui fait des trous", "La Petite Poule Rouge" will no doubt give them more scope/ideas when they come to write their own stories. Grand merci !
