Preterit mixed verbs conjugation and questions practice

Part 1: Write the correct preterit conjugation of each infinitive

Students will write all 6 conjugations for the following verbs:

*Regular: comprar, volver, escribir

*Spelling change: buscar, jugar, almorzar

*Irregular: ser/ ir, dar, ver, hacer (Word bank is provided for the conjugations)

*Reflexive: despertarse, vestirse, acostarse

Note: A table with regular -ar, -er, -ir preterit endings is included for reference.

Part 2: each question in a complete sentence using the preterit (past) tense. No on-line translators or unauthorized resources.

*Students will answer 13 personal information questions. There is one question with each of the infinitives listed in part 1 (except Ser).

*Note: All questions are in the tú conjugation. The English translation of each infinitive used in the question is listed next to every question.

*Questions are grouped by verb type (regular, spelling change, irregular, reflexive)

*A structured template is provided to write the answers.

Answer key is included on pages 5-6 for part 1 only. For part 2, student answers will vary.
