This Christmas card pack is for EYFS and KS1 children, linking with topics such as seasons, celebrations and special days. It is ideal for exploring winter and Christmas in a creative, meaningful way, while also giving children opportunities to talk about family traditions, giving, kindness and the ways people celebrate at this special time of year.
The pack supports literacy and art. Children can practise speaking and listening as they discuss their chosen card design, develop fine motor skills through colouring and cutting, and use early writing skills to add a message inside their card.
The activity encourages creativity and personal expression, especially with the black and white versions, which children can colour in and make their own.

Included are 22 different Christmas cards, in colour and in black and white. The coloured cards are ready to use, while the black and white cards are perfect for children to decorate themselves. With 22 different designs, there are plenty for your class to choose from — enough for each child to pick a favourite.
Simple instructions for making the cards:

  1. Choose a card design.
  2. Colour it in, if using the black and white version.
  3. Cut out the card carefully.
  4. Paste it onto folded card or backing paper.
  5. Write a Christmas message inside.
The resource is a great idea for a Christmas fair — simply make up packs of the cards and sell them to help raise funds for your school or a chosen charity.
