Properties of air and gases mini-station activities (5 stations)
5 mini stations where students can see and test for them self that air has mass and density and is all around us on earth.

I include a student record sheet where they record their results and a teacher power point that you print to provide detailed instructions at each station. The power point also has a description of each station and why it did what it did. I used this to review the results with my class as a whole at the end.

SUPPLIES NEEDED
a few rulers
Wooden stick or dowel (you can use tape and a ruler as well)
Large sheets of paper or a newspaper (keep it around this size)
Tissue paper
toothpicks or pins
Pencils with erasers
Tape
Scissors
A medium size jar, I also used a gallon sized vinegar jug with success.
Bigger metal washers or larger coins will work
Some string

Keep in mind to print out the white slides so the students can see the directions.
My classes really enjoyed these activities
I partnered them up but required each to hand in a data sheet.
