These slides/cards are a useful starter or revision activity (10 minutes) to check/revise learning of the basic key terms and definitions when starting to program using Python. Used within my KS3 lessons. Cards ask a clear question and include answer with an image to also support learning. Students each have a card (ie a set of 10 question cards replicated x3 in a class of 30 would mean students would come across this card on more than one occasion to embed learning). Ask students to move around group and ask each other a question - if they answer correctly students exchange cards. If student answers incorrectly then student asking question to show them answer and move to next student. Thus when student comes across duplicated question card will have learnt answer. I have prepared as a powerpoint file so can be used on smart board or can be printed as 2 slides per page and then laminated and cut out to make the activity cards.
