Personal questions: Present, preterit, and imperfect tenses

Answer in a complete sentence in the tense of the question. (No translators or unauthorized resources)

36 personal information questions with 12 different verbs: hablar, comer, escribir, despertarse, hacer, buscar, pagar, empezar, pedir, ir, estar, and ver. There are 3 questions per verb: one in the present tense, one in the preterit, and one in the imperfect. Students can practice the questions orally in pairs .

Note: Questions on pages 1-4 have lines for student answers. Pages 5-6 have the same questions (without lines) if teachers want to use them as speaking practice.

*Questions can also be assigned for classwork, homework, or sub plans.

Sample:

  1. ¿Con quién hablas en la clase?

  2. ¿Con quién hablaste ayer?

  3. ¿Con quién hablabas todos los días?

  4. ¿Qué come Ud. para el almuerzo?

  5. ¿Qué comisteis para el desayuno ayer?

  6. ¿Qué comían Uds. de niños?
