Ratio AQA Entry Level Maths

This resource has been designed for students working towards the AQA Entry Level Certificate in Maths. It contains three age-appropriate workbooks with revision notes, progress checks, certificate of achievements and answers on Component 2 - Ratio (Fractions).

All three workbooks are avaiable in PDF formats and editable PowerPoint versions to enable personalisation of the workbooks, The work books can be used for classwork, homework or as an indepenedent learning pack.

Entry 1 Workbook

This 40-page workbook contains tasks and activities to enable students to achieve the following outcomes:

Understand equality
Identify or show one half of a quantity up to 20
Work out half of an even number up to 20

Entry 2 Workbook

This 48-page workbook will help pupils to achieve these outcomes:

Identify or show one third or one quarter of a quantity up to 24
Work out one third or one quarter of a number up to 24
Count in fractions of one half or one third or one quarter
Work out amounts two, three or four times the size of a given amount
Recognise the equivalence of one half and two quarters

Entry 3 Workbook

This 47-page workbook focuses on the following outcomes:

Identify or show unit fractions up to one tenth of a quantity up to 100
Work out unit fractions to one tenth of a number up to 100
Identify or show any number of thirds, quarters, fifths or tenths of a quantity
Work out any number of thirds, quarters, fifths or tenths of an amount
Recognise and identify equivalent fractions
Add and subtract fractions with the same denominator within one whole
Work out amounts 5, 8 or 10 times the size of a given amount
