The pack includes 4 worksheets, each containing 10 questions focused on simplifying ratios to their simplest form (e.g. 12 : 20).
Differentiation Structure (per worksheet)
Questions 1–3: Lower Ability (LA) – accessible ratios with clear common factors
Questions 4–6: Middle Ability (MA) – increased challenge and larger values
Questions 7–9: Higher Ability (HA) – more complex ratios requiring deeper reasoning
Each of these questions includes three ratios to simplify, increasing fluency and challenge
Question 10: SATs-style reasoning and problem-solving question
Across the worksheets, pupils are required to:
