A creative, story-based French escape room inspired by Lupin. Students work together to solve clues, decode French texts and unlock the mystery — ideal for end-of-term lessons, enrichment or team-based learning.

What’s included

  • 3 puzzles combining grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension clues
  • printable clue cards, reading texts and answer sheets

  • extras for high achievers and early finishers:

     – Lupin interview with 20 comprehension questions
     – character sheet linking the two tasks
     – French rebus puzzles for advanced challenge

Designed for Year 10–11 – Foundation–Higher crossover.

The main escape room takes around 40 minutes to complete. Students may use dictionaries, calculators or phones, depending on your classroom setup. The activity can be run with or without additional technology beyond a projector.

This resource offers a flexible challenge that stretches learners of all abilities and brings French to life through teamwork, logic and creativity.
