New GCSE Spanish 2026- AQA - Read aloud-dictation task- Foundation and Higher Speaking - FREE SAMPLE

Perfect to practise the read aloud task from the Speaking exam, the dictation task from the Listening paper, and improving pronunciation and spelling in general!

• Includes:
  1.Two sample cards for the Read aloud task for Foundation (cards 1A and 1B).
  2.Two sample cards for the Read aloud task for Higher (cards 2A and 2B).
  3.A pair work (student) version for the cards above to work on in class or to set as cover work.

How to use the pair work worksheet in class:
Students work in pairs, one will be Student A and the other student will be Student B.
There are 3 parts in the worksheet:
Part 1: read aloud activity that works as a dictation (Student A will read their sentences up to three times and Student B will write them down. Then check spelling and swap).
Part 2: Preparation of four questions. Yes, this is not allowed in the actual Speaking exam but helps modelling what a well-developed answer is, thinking through what can be said and gaining in confidence.
Part 3: each student goes through their read aloud task again and will answer four questions with their prepared answers.
