WHY THIS ONE’S DIFFERENT
Built on Gianfranco Conti’s Extensive Processing Instruction (EPI) methodology. Students process the structure receptively before they produce it, moving from reading and noticing, to choosing and transforming, to translation in both directions, to independent writing.
Ir and the infinitive are shown in different colours throughout, so students see which part changes and which part stays the same.
Task 3 makes students turn present tense verbs back into infinitives (juego → jugar, ve → ver), so they think about the structure rather than copying it.
The English-to-Spanish sentences only use language students have already met on the sheet.
