Ser and adjectives completion practice

For each sentence, follow these guidelines:

  1. Write the present tense conjugation of Ser (to be) in the first blank.

  2. In the second blank, write the correct adjective ending (o, a, e),or the missing consonant (r, s). Be sure that your adjective ending agrees with your subject (person) in number (singular / plural) and in gender (masculine / feminine).

  3. Translate your completed Spanish sentence into English using the word bank below.

*Note: The word bank has adjectives of physical traits, personality, and nationality with their English translation.

*A table with all six conjugations of Ser is included.

*There are 10 sets with 3 short sentences in each set. The subject in each set will be the same.

Sample:

*For adjectives, use masculine gender

Yo ________ baj___.
Translation:_________________________________________

Yo no _________ reservad___.
Translation: _______________________________________

Yo _________ american____.
Translation: ________________________________________

Answer key is included on pages 4-6.
