This lesson is one of a series (scheme of work) to teach Solids, Liquids, and Gases for GCSE / iGCSE Chemistry.


This lesson has the following Learning Objectives:

  • Know how to use particle diagrams to explain properties of solids, liquids and gases.
  • Understand the arrangement and movement of particles in solids, liquids and gases.
  • Know that all substances are made of particles and that substances can change state.
