**BEGINNER SPANISH VOCABULARY CARDS : REFERENCE, RECALL & WRITE WORKBOOKS** *198 words & phrases, with matching English cards* My students really enjoy working independently with this set of *Spanish beginner vocabulary* games and activities, and find that way of working really does help them to develop their confidence and embed the vocabulary into their longer-term memory. They love to quiz / test themselves and each other on a regular basis - it's a very popular alternative to more traditional vocabulary 'drilling tasks'. There are lots of small and whole-group games to play, and I've described a range that have worked well for us. I encourage students to complete the *Notes and Next Steps* sheet regularly - this helps promote reflective learning, encourages students to think about progress they have made, to think about targets for improvement, and how to achieve those targets. There's definitely some prep involved, as there are 198 words and phrases cards, so 396 cards in total - do laminate them if you can, as they are far more learner-friendly and will last for years.
