This easy-to-use program will allow you to create reports quickly and efficiently. Enter the student’s name, gender, and select from a list of comments - or create your own. Then just click ‘Generate’ and your finished report is automatically copied to the clipboard. For the comments provided, Report Generator will also insert the correct pronoun (He/She, His/Her) for the gender selected. Once you have set up your own comments you can get through a class in minutes! Your comments are retained even after you quit the program. (Runs on Windows 7, 8/8.1 & Windows 10, but not MAC OS).
I love this resource. However, I can't change some of the preset comments. I'd like to do so if it was possible???? I mean, for example, the first 'achievement' comments.

Thank you for your positive feedback - I'm glad you enjoyed using Student Report Writer. The reason that some of the presets aren't editable is that the correct pronoun is inserted depending on the student gender selected, for these particular comments. You can still add your own comments to the list of course, but make sure you add two versions if you intend to use gender pronouns. Hope this helps! :-)

Many thanks for the great feedback. Yes, the first few comments can't be edited. This is because they contain the correct pronoun (he/she, him, her etc) depending on which gender you select. However, you can add as many of your own comments as you wish further down. Hope that helps - ICT Resources.

Does not always put in the pupils name and does not sort out the gender. In addition I think only four comments on a report is pretty limited and it does not have the option of adding more comments.

Thanks for your review. Sorry the SRWP didn't quite meet all your expectations, and we appreciate there are limitations to any one-size-fits-all approach. The program inserts the student's name at the start of the 2nd & 4th comments, and uses the correct pronoun for the 3rd comment. Allowing the addition of further comments is something we are looking into for future versions of the software, but for now you can extend any of the comments into two sentences, if required.

Does what it says on the tin! You can create a report comment in a matter of seconds. Infinitely better than cutting and pasting text from a Word document.
