A swimming assessment framework for weak and non-confident swimmers. The assessment framework has been split into 5 stages that act as stepping stones for developing pupils water confidence.
Upon completion of Stage 5 pupils would progress to the Swim England ‘Learn to Swim Stage 1’. Therefore this resource is a ‘pre-Swimming strokes’ swimming assessment toolkit. This resource would work well for teachers of pupils with SEN and primary school teachers who have pupils with low water confidence.
