A great resource to get learners excited about Wimbledon 2016!
The resource includes 3 Wimbledon/ tennis theme activities:
-Writing a haiku riddle
-Word-search
-Numeracy worksheet – addition, subtraction, money, perimeter and circumference
-Suggested teaching strategies for each activity
-Answers

This resource has been thoroughly designed so no extra prep or specialised ability is needed! It can form a standalone literacy and numeracy lesson or can be left as a cover lesson. Together all three activities should last between 1 - 1.5 hours.
Can be easily adapted to suit other lessons you may have already planned.

This lesson should be accessible to KS2 students, for KS3 maths worksheet will need additional problems.
Activities are differentiated and provide a challenge for more able students.
