This is a full lesson where pupils look at the key features of the Elizabethan theatre and show how significant it was. Please note - it's based around the WJEC textbook 'The Elizabethan Age' by R. Paul Evans so you will need a copy of this. There is a focus on exam technique and approaching the 12 mark 'significance' questions. Activities include completing a timeline; labelling and explaining the key features of the theatre; a spidergram to show the significance of playwrights; a 'talking partners' activity which builds on this and a 'Connect Four 4' interactive quiz at the end (from the brilliant classtools.net) I included a HWK slide which is also heavily reliant on the textbook.
