The essential role of multi-agency support
Ryecroft Primary Academy in Holmewood, Bradford, draws from the 1% most deprived areas nationally. This case study highlights the struggle of headteacher, Jayne Clarke, and her commitment to helping her 257 children escape the lives led by most of their parents. 42 external agencies are involved at the school where 90% are FSM. It includes a typical day in her life - which only ends once all her children are safely accounted for. For Ryecroft children the journey is so much longer.
