The Meaning of Figurative Language - Playlist and Teaching Notes
In this playlist, students explore standard RL.5.4. They will learn how to identify examples of figurative language and use context to determine the meaning of words and phrases. Students will explain what a metaphor and simile is. Students also have the option to view instructional videos and complete practice quizzes or activities.
