This lesson has been designed to cover the Connections, Comparisons, and Communities ACTFL standards. It provide students with an opportunity to integrate the vocabulary, grammar, and culture concepts previously acquired:

• Use of pronouns with school-related nouns and other verb forms
• México: cultural fusion, Spain and Native Americans, and Mestizo culture
Students and their teacher will watch the Spanish version of the vocabulary and grammar video together. Then, students must complete two engaging extension activities: Así es mi escuela and Carta al director(a), which will allow them to create projects that can be shared with their classmates or family to show the Spanish knowledge gained up to this point. Each activity includes its corresponding rubric.
