Trace /Sort the Alphabet with Betty Bear

These three alphabet and handwriting worksheets are ideal for EYFS and KS1 children, helping to develop letter recognition, handwriting skills, fine motor control and alphabetical ordering.
Sheet 1 introduces Betty Bear, who invites children to trace the letters of the alphabet using dotted handwriting guides before colouring in the large bubble letters.
Sheet 2 features colour alphabet flashcards for children to cut out, sort and arrange in alphabetical order. These can be added to the writing table to encourage independent exploration of letters and early literacy skills. The flashcards can also be duplicated and laminated for repeated use.
Sheet 3 provides a black-and-white version of the alphabet flashcards, allowing children to trace each letter, colour it in, cut out the cards and place them in alphabetical order.
