Twenty Black Women of Note

A useful source of information especially for citizenship or assemblies;
Features twenty different Black women who have made a significant contribution to society -some through their actions (such as Rosa Parks) others through their pioneering role (e.g. Linda Dobbs).
For each woman there is a slide with their picture and role/dates as well as slide with a short overview of their life/work/significance (c 250-300 words each) (this information is also available in a word document).
They are taken from the Daily Tutor Time resources supplied to schools around the country which are designed for use in tutorial time or supporting assemblies.
