In this common-core activity students will learn about three different strikes from the union movement during the American Industrial Revolution: The Homestead Strike, The Pullman Strike and the Haymarket Affair. An engaging presentation is included that includes film clips, pair-share questions, class discussion questions, and a formative assessment. Students will analyze two different perspectives of the Homestead Strike and will predict the story that is more believable.
