This is the newly updated (2022) award-winning Upper KS3 project.

This package has everything you need to teach your upper KS3 pupils how to design, make while also learning real world hand skills directly linked to repairing clothes.

The brief: “You have been asked to design and make a stuffed toy in your choice of style, suitable for customers/users of your choice. To reduce the environmental damage it must use at least 25% recycled materials.”

It was created for a full 20 week project but could be reduced for shorter rotations. It also includes images of handouts to be printed for the pupils.

It includes:

  • 137 slide PowerPoint/pdf which runs in the same order as the student workbook and also has supporting slides for a range of practical activites such as tie dye, block printing and extra activites for Fashion Revolution Week.

  • A 30 page digital workbook in word format, this was developed in google docs for remote learning. The layout may need tweaking depending on your version of Microsoft Word or your can use the pdf version also included.

  • A 30 page digital workbook in pdf format, with space to add your school logo.
