This is a 2 slide powerpoint which includes a blank table on a slide to be printed and used as a pupil activity. The second slide has the complete answers and you could show this during an explanation and get the pupils to fill in the blanks themselves or you can just give them the complete sheet. This is full editable.

This resource is great game to help pupils remember equipment names and develops pupils vocabulary literacy. The first slide is a bingo blank which you fill in using the equipment from the list. The second page is a list you print and cut up to pull out of a bag or similar and call at random. I find this works best when the first page is complete and laminated to be reused.

This handout covers the science behind gelatinisation. It features a suggested experiment to undertake using different starch flours preserved in different solutions. This is a fun activity where pupils can design their own cheesecake. It includes 3 mini-mindmaps of the different ideas for: Base; Filling & Topping. Pupils then draw their final design cheesecake in the box and can make a shopping list of ingredients in the table. This is a jpg file.
