This resource includes A3 display posters for each of the chosen designers/company selected by WJEC for the new GCSE Design & Technology in Fashion and Textiles. This is perfect for the section: 2.1.1 (f) - “Investigate and analyse the work of past and present professionals and companies in the area of design and technology in order to help inform their own ideas”. The posters include a range/collage of images of each designers work and also an overview of the designer and the influences etc: The designers/company include: Stella McCartney (designer) Orla Kiely (designer) Laura Ashley (company) There is also a poster I made to help pupils learn how to analyse and investigate rather than simply describing the work of others with lots of suggestions and tips. Although these are designed as posters they could also be used as a supporting lesson presentation as they are all landscape and can be viewed perfectly on a projector/whiteboard to help with your own lessons based on the work of other designers and professionals.
