An extended Year 8 Spanish resource on the theme of free time (el tiempo libre) — designed for a full lesson of independent work. Ideal as meaty classwork, a structured homework task, or as cover work when you need confidence that pupils can keep learning without a specialist teacher in the room.

Built for a longer session, this pack takes pupils through richer reading passages about how Spanish teens spend their free time — sports, music, TV and film, video games, hobbies, and hanging out with friends and family. Tasks progress through vocabulary-matching, comprehension questions, gap-fills, translation, and longer written responses where pupils describe their own free time and express preferences.

Clear instructions on every activity make it ideal for non-specialist teachers, supply staff or TAs. Pupils work independently and leave with a page of written evidence covering multiple skills.
