Confidently plan lessons for younger pupils by taking inspiration from this collection of activities, from jlewis19

What is it?

I believe that understanding primary maths is crucial for teaching Years 7 and 8. However, getting to grips with the skills approached before secondary school can be a bit of a minefield – until now!

Detailing the breadth and level of topics covered within the younger key stages, these sheets provide a concise overview of the world of primary maths. Plus, they're packed with plenty of engaging and adaptable activities, perfect for consolidating knowledge at any level.

How can it be used?

This pack is ideal for providing last-minute inspiration, so I’d suggest having it close to hand when planning lessons for younger pupils.

Why not adapt some of the exercises to suit the ability of your class? With so many alternative ideas to choose from, there's something to engage every student.

Craig Barton was speaking to Victoria Haughton. He is a secondary maths teacher in the north of England.
